The Motor Transport Company of Guangdong and Hong Kong Limited (MTC) was successfully set up at 1st May, 1980. It was formed jointly by the Traffic Bureau of Guangdong Provincial Government, Inchcape Motor Limited and China Merchants Steam Navigator Company Limited, In 1982 and 1983, the Traffic and Transportation Company of Shenzhen Municipal Government and Guangdong (Hong Kong) limited joined the MTC as new shareholders. The MTC is the prior to provide cross-boundary transport service.

For the past 20 years, the MTC obtained supporting from the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Government of Hong Kong and all other important parties. Besides, special funding was allowed from the Hong Kong Government for the construction and improvement works at Wen Jindo Port. In addition, governments’ lands at urban areas were rent to us for stations erection. Such as an area near Hung Hom Public Pier, Canton Road at Tsimshatsui and Austin Road at Tsimshatsui, which are the most convenient and the firstly built cross-boundary bus terminal.

To achieve this objective, during the past 20 years, we send over 10,000,000 passengers and over 2,300,000 tones of goods to their destinations pleasantly and in safe. Now, we have about 240 vehicles in our service team, and services covering about 80% cities of Guangdong Province. We are the most convenient transportation services provider; you can enjoy your pleasant journey or send your goods directly between Guangxi, Fujian and Hunan with our 150 times of services daily.
